【摘要】:ThispartofISO/IEC10967definesthepropertiesofintegerandfloatingpointdatatypesoncom-putersystemstoensurethattheprocessingofarithmeticdatacanbeundertakeninareliableandpredictablemanner.Emphasisisplacedondocumentingtheexistingvariationbetweensystems,notontheeliminationofsuchvariation.TherequirementsofthispartofISO/IEC10967shallbeinadditiontothosethatmaybespecifiedinotherstandards,suchasthoseforprogramminglanguages(Seeclause7).ItisnotthepurposeofthispartofISO/IEC10967toensurethatanarbitrarynumericalfunctioncanbesoencodedastoproduceacceptableresultsonallconformingsystems.Rather,thegoalistoensurethatthepropertiesofarithmeticonaconformingsystemaremadeavailabletotheprogrammer.Therefore,itisnotreasonabletodemandthatasubstantivepieceofsoftwarerunoneveryimple-mentationthatcanclaimconformitytothispartofISO/IEC10967.Animplementormaychooseanycombinationofhardwareandsoftwaresupporttomeetthespeci-ficationsofthispartofISO/IEC10967.Itisthearithmeticenvironment,asseenbytheuser,thatdoesordoesnotconformtothespecifications.Thetermimplementation(ofthispartofISO/IEC10967)denotesthetotalarithmeticenvironment,includinghardware,languageprocessors,exceptionhandlingfacilities,subroutinelibraries,othersoftware,andallpertinentdocumentation.1SpecificationsincludedinthispartofISO/IEC10967ThispartofISO/IEC10967definesintegerandfloatingpointdatatypes.Definitionsareincludedforbounded,unbounded,andmodulointegertypes,aswellasbothnormalizedanddenormalizedfloatingpointtypes.Thespecificationforanarithmetictypeincludesa)Thesetofcomputablevalues.b)Thesetofcomputationaloperationsprovided,including1)primitiveoperations(addition,subtraction,etc.)withoperandsofthesametype,2)comparisonoperationsontwooperandsofthesametype,3)conversionoperationsfromanyarithmetictypetoanyotherarithmetictype,and4)operationsthataccesspropertiesofindividualvalues.c)Program-visibleparametersthatcharacterizethevaluesandoperations.d)Proceduresforreportingarithmeticexceptions.NOTE-A.1.3describesplannedfutureworkinthisarea.2SpecificationsnotwithinthescopeofthispartofISO/IEC10967ThispartofISO/IEC10967providesnospecificationsfora)Arithmeticandcomparisonoperationswhoseoperandsareofmorethanonedatatype.ThispartofISO/IEC10967neitherrequiresnorexcludesthepresenceofsuch"mixedoperand"operations.b)Ageneralunnormalizedfloatingpointdatatype,ortheoperationsonsuchdata.ThispartofISO/IEC10967neitherrequiresnorexcludessuchdataoroperations.c)Anintervaldatatype,ortheoperationsonsuchdata.ThispartofISO/IEC10967neitherrequiresnorexcludessuchdataoroperations.d)Afixedpointdatatype,ortheoperationsonsuchdata.ThispartofISO/IEC10967neitherrequiresnorexcludessuchdataoroperations.e)Arationaldatatype,ortheoperationsonsuchdata.ThispartofISO/IEC10967neitherrequiresnorexcludessuchdataoroperations.f)Thepropertiesofarithmeticdatatypesthatarenotrelatedtothenumericalprocess,suchastherepresentationofvaluesonphysicalmedia.g)Floatingpointvaluesthatrepresentinfinityornon-numericresults.However,specificationsforsuchvaluesaregiveninIEC559.h)Thepropertiesofintegerandfloatingpointdatatypesthatproperlybelonginlanguagestandards.Examplesinclude1)Thesyntaxofliteralsandexpressions.2)Theprecedenceofoperators.3)Therulesofassignmentandparameterpassing.4)Thepresenceorabsenceofautomatictypecoercions.5)Theconsequencesofapplyinganoperationtovaluesofimpropertype,ortouninitializeddata.NOTE-Seeclause7andannexEforadiscu
